As one of the leading suppliers of aircraft accessories worldwide, Quality Aircraft Accessories (QAA) has been successfully operating in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 1999. QAA was founded by a team of aircraft mechanics who decided they could provide a streamlined and more affordable solution to aircraft owners at a better quality. As a repair and overhaul station for damaged aircraft parts, QAA is able to sell refurbished aircraft accessories for significantly less than the part would cost new. QAA is a FAA Part 145 Class 1 and Class 2 repair station.

Challenge

Before working with Champ, QAA was operating with a very basic website that only allowed customers to contact them via the phone for customer service needs and sales. Similarly, their website did not bring in significant traffic and the company relied upon traditional marketing methods and word-of-mouth to bring in business. QAA wanted to increase their market share in the industry and knew that they needed to allow customers to purchase products through their website.

A challenge of their initial e-commerce platform development was that they wanted to begin with the exact same look and feel of their previous website. However, QAA has thousands of products and many different product categories and they needed to provide customers with an easy way to search for products to find exactly what they are looking for. Another big challenge was getting QAA to rank in search engines for product codes, numbers and names. Starting from a point with little to no organic rankings for products, QAA needed to quickly rank competitively for these searches.
